fechter is a robotic home company. We design the whole house and build all of the technology in it, and construction partners build the houses with us. Instead of making robots that have to find their way through your house, we make the whole house the robot.
We are building it as a 3D digital twin today, with real hardware next, and are already talking to our first founding owners.

Usually your data travels to a server to be processed and stored. A robotic home has its own server with local AI, so your data never has to leave the house, and one switch turns it all off.
The house sees every room at once.
A humanoid robot has to walk around your house constantly to see what is going on. A robotic house sees everything and knows itself to the millimetre.
We build the house from the ground up.
Every old and custom-built house is a one-off. That makes building expensive and robotics hard. That's why we only build the same house, every time.

The glass wakes you with the sun.
It clears slowly from dark as the sun comes up, and the garden comes into the room. You wake to daylight, not an alarm.

The glass turns to milk while you get ready.
The light still comes in; no one sees in. No curtain to draw.
13:00 · Nobody home
No one is home. The house keeps itself even.
In summer the glass tints and keeps the heat outside. In winter it stays clear and lets the sun warm the house.

Every room decides for itself.
Frosted where the family is, the light glowing warm through it. Shut completely where you want to be alone, or watch a film.
23:30 · Night
Everything closes. The house sleeps with you.
No curtain, no shutter. Dark, calm, and cool for the night.
